Eligibility Criteria
Academic level

Academic performance
Students must have secured at least 60% marks or 2.5 CGPA in their last annual or semester examination.
Enrollment status
Students must be regular students of their respective institutions and not distance learners or private candidates.
Age limit
Students must not be more than 25 years of age for undergraduate programs, 30 years for graduate programs, and 35 years for postgraduate programs.
Previous award
Students must not have received a laptop under any previous PM Laptop Scheme or any other federal or provincial government scheme.
The scheme has a merit list that is generated based on the academic performance and enrollment status of the applicants. The merit list is displayed on the HEC website and the respective institutions' websites.
