UET Entrance Test for Admission BSc Engineering and Technology Programs

UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY LAHORE

COMBINED ENTRANCE TEST 2024 (FIRST) FOR ADMISSION IN ENGINEERING INSTITUTIONS OF THE PUNJAB FOR B.Sc. ENGINEERING & B.Sc. ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS 

As per the direction of the Government of Punjab sance 1999 University of Engineenng and Technology (UET), Lahore has been conducting the combined Ertrance Test for admission in Pubic Sector Engineering and Technology institutes of Punjab. 

It's mandatory for admission in the undergraduate Engineering and Technology programs of public private Engineering Institutes. 

ORIENTATION SESSION DATE 

On 8th and 9th of March, 2024 orientation sessions will be conducted in one of the following Centers at the allotted time

ENTRANCE TEST DATE

Monday through Friday (March 11, 2024, to March 15, 2024) in the above Centers of the allotted time. 

WHO CAN APPEAR IN THE ENTRANCE TEST? 

Anyone can take the Entrance Test, however appearance in the Test does not confirm the right to apply for admission in the Engineering and Engineering Technology Institutions of the Punjab.

GETTING ENTRANCE TEST TOKEN NUMBER 

• The applicant needs to log on to the admission portal admission.uet.edu.pk via a token on payment of Rs 2500/-
• The token number can be obtained in two ways, 1. Through MBL online banking if you are an HBL account holder or 2. Through HBL KONNECT if you are not an HBL account holder.
• In either case the token number is your challan number which is valid till Thursday, February 20, 2024.

ENTRANCE TEST ADMIT CARD 

• Last date for data entry and generation of Admit Card online is: Thursday, February 29 2024.
• Reprint of Admit Cards is permitted until the day of the test.

STANDARD OF THE TEST AND SUBJECTS TO BE TESTED

The Test would be determined on following subject group bases.

1. Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry
2. Physics, Matnematcs, English and Computer Science
3. Physics, Mathematics, English and Statistics
4. Physics, Biology English and Chemistry

Entrance Test Guide Lines 

• The duration of the Test will be hundred minutes 
• Ten questions wil be related to English and the rest will be equally be divided amongst the other subjects.
• Each correct answer worth four points and for every incorrect answer one point will be deducted.
• Minimum passing score for the Entrance Test is 33%.

Subject Combination and Selection 

1. The candidates should select a combination from one of the above choices depending on the subjects.
2. DAE qualified candidates can only choose from the following two options
1. Physics, Mathematics, English and Chemistry
2. Physics, Mathematics, English and Computer Science 

IMPORTANT DATES: 

1. The last date for generating Admit Cards is Thursday. February 29, 2024. 
2. Inshaa Allah official result of the Entrance Test wil be declared on the admission portal on Friday, March 22, 2024.

REQUIREMENT OF PHOTO-ID AT THE TEST CENTER DURING ENTRANCE TEST 

1. Computerized Natonal Identity Card CNIC/NCOP Or 
2. Juvenile e Card issued by NADRA Or 
3. Matric/Intermediate certificate carrying photograph Or 
4. Computerized Domicile certificate bearing a photograph Or 
5. A Passport Or
6. A statement of Entry in case of A Level students 

INFORMATION 

1. All canddate who misses the Entrance Test in the allotted center during the allotted time, will not be permitted to retake the exam.
2. Since the test is fully automated no re-checking facility will be provided.
